Summary This DVD is volume 37 in a series called Outstanding Leaders in Dentistry, which explores leadership of people who have significantly contributed to dentistry. This is an interview with Morton Amsterdam, who talks about his life and career in dentistry. He is generally recognized as "The Father of Periodontal Prosthesis", and a Professorship in Periodontal Prosthesis has been endowed in his name at the University of Pennsylvania, by United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Walter H. Annenberg.Professor Emeritus of Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis, as well as Norman Vine Professor of Restorative Dentistry, at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Hahnemann University. The interview was conducted in 1996 or 1997 and republished on DVD around 2006.
