Description An image from a 25 page photo album containing photographs taken by Captain Bion R. East, DDS 1908, during his time in World War I. In blue ink below the image is the caption "French artillery, Vittel" This black and white image shows French walking down the dirt street. In a single row are units of a solider guiding a horse carry weapons behind him on a wheels. They extend the length of the picture. In the foreground are the side view of two men. The one in the center is wearing a black coat and has a mustache. The one on the right is in uniform and looking at the French.
