Description A tan colored Western Union telegram with black printed text. At the top of the page "Western Union" is printed in bold black letters and the message below was addressed to Dr. Robert and Laura Turner from George Ross (Laura's father). The telegram is dated as received on October 29, 1929. The telegram is creased and glued to the upper portion of page 29 of a white hardcover scrapbook (0997.0001). The telegram is attached to a second telegram (0997.0115) also glued to the page. The back of the telegram has pieces of dried black paper glued to it.
