  3. Newsletter - Volume 8, number 1 of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's DENTALUM newsletter, formerly known simply as "Alumni News." The newsletter is bound with staples and printed in black ink, with the exception of the newsletter logo, cover text, and an interior extracted quote, which are printed in dark blue ink. The "UM" in DENTALUM is printed in block stencil letters as an homage to the U of M (University of Michigan). The newsletter contains thirty-seven black and white photographs of dental school faculty, alumni, students, and patients, as well as an announcement for the Chicago Dental Society's midwinter meeting, a submission form for news items for the next issue and a demographic profile of the incoming dental school class of 1990. 22 pages, not including the inner back cover, which contains photographs. Cover: Light gray background. Black and white whole-page photograph of three children (left to right: Abelardo Trevino, Iracema Gaytan, Francisco Calderon) standing at the door to a white mobile dental health unit operated by the School of Dentistry.
