Albert Wildanger is a University of Michigan Alumni. In "Dean for a Day" Kelsey takes Wildanger around the new dental school. They meet with Dean Mann and then go to a recording studio where they present Wildanger with an award. Kelsey then proceeds to ask him a few questions about the school. Wildanger recalls some early faculty members and buildings that were present when he was a student, including Waterman's gymnasium. They talk about installing electricity in the buildings and the famous Henry Purfield, dispenser and janitor. Wildanger talks about some of his past-time during dental school such as playing the mandolin and performing in plays at the Union. He also talks about the procedures that he did when he was a student. Wildanger talks a little about his life as a Flint dentist and his life in Flint. |
