1. Newsletter - Fall 1999 issue of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's DENTAL newsmagazine. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of the cover text and some interior headings and emphasized text, which are printed in white, blue, or gold. The magazine contains one color photograph, seventy-three black and white photographs, a map of the University of Michigan central campus, a program schedule, a graph showing an increase in patient visits, a submission form for news items for the upcoming issue, and an announcement for a reception at the upcoming ADA Annual Session. 60 pages. The front cover is entirely comprised of a color photograph of School of Dentistry Dean William Kotowicz, with two men standing on either side of him. All three men are wearing suits and smiling, and they are standing outside. Kotowicz holds an open leather binder in his hands. Above the men's heads is the magazine logo in white, with "Dental" italicized. In the bottom left corner of the cover, "Major Dental Program Comes to the University of Michigan" is printed in white. The back cover is solid blue, save for mailing information and an empty white box. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in blank ink, which the exceptions of the cover text and some international headings, which are printed in white/gold and dark blue respectively. The newsletter contains fifty-seven black and white photographs, a submission form for news items for the upcoming issue, a registration form for a reception at the upcoming ADA Annual Session, a map graphic showing where the Alumni Society Board of Governors lives, and a nomination form for future members of the Board of Governors. 32 pages. The front and back covers are dark blue. The front covers contains the newsletter's logo, with "DENTAL" in white and "UM" in gold, three photographs from the 1996 commencement, and some white text listing features in the issue.
