1. Newsletter - Volume 11, number 2 of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's DENTALUM newsletter. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of the newsletter's logo and some interior headings, which are printed in purple ink, and mailing information on the back cover, which is printed in white. The newsletter contains twenty-eight black and white photographs, as well as a ballot of the Alumni Society's Board of Governors, a graph displaying trends in grant awards, a registration form for an alumni reception at the upcoming ADA Annual Session, and a submission form for news items for the next issue. 24 pages, not including the interior back cover, which also contains text and two photographs. The front cover contains the newsletter's logo, with "DENTAL" in block purple letters and "UM" in block stencil letters outlined in purple, as well as one large and two smaller black and white photographs of dental school faculty, staff, and students in the school's new Periodontics/Prevention/Geriatrics lab. Except for mailing information, the back cover is solid purple, as is the left edge of the front cover. The newsletter is bound with stapes, and most of the text is printed in blue ink. Some interior headings are printed in white against blue backgrounds, and some are printed in blue ink. The cover text is printed in white, also against a solid blue background. The newsletter contains twenty black and white photographs, a color reprint of a poster for the Grand Rapids Fluoridation Commemorative, a demographic profile of the School of Dentistry's incoming class of 1995, an announcement for the Midwinter Meeting of the Chicago Dental Society, and a submission form for news items for the upcoming issue. 28 pages, not including the interior back cover, which also contains text. The front cover contains the newsletter's logo--with "DENTAL" in block white letters and "UM" in block gold letters--at the top. Beneath that is a color reprint of a poster or announcement for the Grand Rapids Fluoridation Commerative, which features a church building, two women in blue caps and gowns, the Grand Rapids skyline surrounded by green trees, and other images in watercolor. Beneath that is a brief listing of newsletter features in white text. The back cover is solid blue with a white box for mailing information in the center. A typed label addresses the newsletter to Jane E. Becker at the Sindecuse Museum.
