2. Newsletter - Volume 11, number 2 of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's DENTALUM newsletter. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of the newsletter's logo and some interior headings, which are printed in purple ink, and mailing information on the back cover, which is printed in white. The newsletter contains twenty-eight black and white photographs, as well as a ballot of the Alumni Society's Board of Governors, a graph displaying trends in grant awards, a registration form for an alumni reception at the upcoming ADA Annual Session, and a submission form for news items for the next issue. 24 pages, not including the interior back cover, which also contains text and two photographs. The front cover contains the newsletter's logo, with "DENTAL" in block purple letters and "UM" in block stencil letters outlined in purple, as well as one large and two smaller black and white photographs of dental school faculty, staff, and students in the school's new Periodontics/Prevention/Geriatrics lab. Except for mailing information, the back cover is solid purple, as is the left edge of the front cover.
