  2. Newsletter - Volume 9, number 3 of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's DENTALUM newsletter (formerly known as "Alumni News"), published in the winter of 1992. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink. The newsletter contains forty black and white photographs, as well as a demographic profile of the dental school's incoming class of 1992, several graphics related to a fundraising campaign, a submission form for news items for the next issue, and an order form for School of Dentistry sweatshirts and t-shirts. 28 pages, not including the interior back cover, which contains an event notice and two photographs. The cover features the newsletter's logo, with the "UM" in "DENTALUM" in block stencil letters, and a photograph of a man and a woman, David Smit and Dolores Kerns, posing as though Smit is providing dental care to Kerns. Smit and Kerns are wearing clothing from the late 1800s or early 1900s, and "Sindecuse Museum Opens" is printed in white ink at the lower right corner of the photograph.
