    This black-and-white class photo composite shows the University of Michigan Dental Class of 1953. The portraits are arranged in rows with the individuals' name written underneath their photo. There are three women in the composite as well as a photo of the entrance to the School of Dentistry. The class president, vice president, secretary and treasurer are all identified.   2. Newsletter - Volume 14, number 2 of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's DENTALUM magazine, published in the spring of 1998. The magazine is bound with staples, and most of the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of the cover text, some interior headings, and some interior emphasized text, which is printed in white, yellow, or blue. The magazine contains twenty-seven color photographs, twenty-eight black and white photographs, a demographic profile of the incoming class of 1997, a schedule of continuing dental education courses, and a submission form for news items for the upcoming issue. 28 pages, not including the interior back cover, which also contains text. The front and back covers are dark blue. The front cover contains the magazine's logo, with "DENTAL" in white and "UM" in yellow, and a large color photograph of two donors, a man and a woman, to the Campaign for Michigan. Beneath that, in the lower right corner of the front cover, is a black and white photograph of a child receiving dental care and the text "Celebring 75 years of Dental Hygiene at Michigan" in white. The back cover is solid dark blue, save for mailing information. At the center of the back cover, a white label has been pasted over an addressee's information.
