1. Newsletter - Volume 10, number 1 of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's DENTALUM newsletter (formerly known as "Alumni News"), published in Spring 1993. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exception of the newsletter's title, cover text, and some interior headings, which are printed in red ink. The newsletter contains forty-four black and white photographs, a submission form for news items for the upcoming issue, and a map graphic showing where the Alumni Board of Governors lives. 24 pages, not including the interior back cover, which contains photographs are the map graphic. The cover contains the newsletter's logo, with the "UM" in "DENTALUM" in block stencil letters, and a left-aligned black and white photograph of two individuals working in the biosafety level 3 lab. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of the cover text and some interior headings, which are printed in white/yellow and white/dark blue respectively. The newsletter contains twenty-seven black and white photographs, a condensed blueprint for the dental school expansion, a demographic profile of the incoming class of 1996, graphs displaying research funding information, a survey form for spouses practicing dentistry together, and a submission form for news items for the upcoming issue. 32 pages. The front and back covers are dark blue. The front cover contains the newsletter's logo with "DENTAL" in white and "UM" in yellow, a black and white photograph of Lynn and Robert W. Browne, and small white text listing some articles in the magazine. The back cover is solid blue, save for mailing information in white at the top.
