1. Newsletter - Volume 14, number 3 of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's DENTALUM magazine, published for the fall and winter of 1998. The magazine is bound with staples, and most of the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of the cover text and some interior headings, which are printed in white, blue, or yellow ink. The newsletter is bounded with staples, and the cover is pale blue with the newsletter's logo and text in golden ink. The front cover contains a color photograph of the School of Dentistry class of 1940 at their fifty-year reunion, and the back cover contains a reprint of the class of 1940's black and white composited photograph. Inside, the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of some headings and the text on the inner back cover, which are printed in gold ink. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exception of the newsletter's logo and an interior extracted quote, which are printed in golden ink. The newsletter contains two color photographs, twenty-eight black and white photographs, and a submission form for news items for the next issue. 19 pages. The front cover contains the newsletter logo--the "UM" in DENTALUM appears in block stencil letters--and the text "School Hosts National Conference on Black Dentistry / story on page 6."
