The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exception of the newsletter's logo and some internal headings, which are printed in teal ink. The newsletter contains thirty-eight black and white photographs, as well as a demographic profile of the incoming class of 1993, a listing of upcoming continuing education courses, and a submission form for news items for the next issue. 28 pages, not including the interior back cover, which also contains text. The front cover contains the newsletters logo with DENTAL printed in solid teal letters and UM printed in block stencil letters outlined in teal. Beneath that is a black and white photograph of Dr. Brien Lang, a faculty member, seated at a desk and typing at a computer workstation. The back cover is solid teal, as is the left border of the front cover. The front cover contains a color photograph of the School of Dentistry class of 1940 at their fifty-year reunion, and the back cover contains a reprint of the class of 1940's black and white composited photograph. Inside, the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of some headings and the text on the inner back cover, which are printed in gold ink.
