1. Newsletter - Volume 12, number 3 of the the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's DENTALUM newsletter, published for the winter of 1995/1996. The newsletter is bound with stapes, and most of the text is printed in blue ink. Some interior headings are printed in white against blue backgrounds, and some are printed in blue ink. The cover text is printed in white, also against a solid blue background. The newsletter contains twenty black and white photographs, a color reprint of a poster for the Grand Rapids Fluoridation Commemorative, a demographic profile of the School of Dentistry's incoming class of 1995, an announcement for the Midwinter Meeting of the Chicago Dental Society, and a submission form for news items for the upcoming issue. 28 pages, not including the interior back cover, which also contains text. The front cover contains the newsletter's logo--with "DENTAL" in block white letters and "UM" in block gold letters--at the top. Beneath that is a color reprint of a poster or announcement for the Grand Rapids Fluoridation Commerative, which features a church building, two women in blue caps and gowns, the Grand Rapids skyline surrounded by green trees, and other images in watercolor. Beneath that is a brief listing of newsletter features in white text. The back cover is solid blue with a white box for mailing information in the center. A typed label addresses the newsletter to Jane E. Becker at the Sindecuse Museum. The newsletter is bound by staples, and page 9 folds outwards to reveal pages 7 and 8. The text is printed in black ink, with the exception of "alumni news" in the newsletter's logo, which is printed in dark blue ink. The newsletter contains twenty-seven black and white photographs, primarily of dental school faculty, and seventeen of which are from dental school dean William R. Mann's retirement dinner. 9 pages, not including the back cover, which also contains text.
