1. Newsletter - Fall 1999 issue of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's DENTAL newsmagazine. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of the cover text and some interior headings and emphasized text, which are printed in white, blue, or gold. The magazine contains one color photograph, seventy-three black and white photographs, a map of the University of Michigan central campus, a program schedule, a graph showing an increase in patient visits, a submission form for news items for the upcoming issue, and an announcement for a reception at the upcoming ADA Annual Session. 60 pages. The front cover is entirely comprised of a color photograph of School of Dentistry Dean William Kotowicz, with two men standing on either side of him. The newsletter contains twenty-eight black and white photographs, as well as a ballot of the Alumni Society's Board of Governors, a graph displaying trends in grant awards, a registration form for an alumni reception at the upcoming ADA Annual Session, and a submission form for news items for the next issue. 24 pages, not including the interior back cover, which also contains text and two photographs. The front cover contains the newsletter's logo, with "DENTAL" in block purple letters and "UM" in block stencil letters outlined in purple, as well as one large and two smaller black and white photographs of dental school faculty, staff, and students in the school's new Periodontics/Prevention/Geriatrics lab.
