Pin, Lapel - Octagonally shaped gold-colored metal dental hygiene pin from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, 1953. Pin belonged to Jackline Myers (dental hygiene alum 1953). Gold with royal blue sections at all corners reading "U," "OF," "M," and "P" (clockwise); central section has candelabra indicating honors' society and "dental hygiene" printed at bottom. Pin vertically placed in center on reverse side; reverse inscribed with J.M.M. 1953 in center; initials stand for Jackline Marie Myers (owner of pin).
