The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of the newsletter's logo and some interior headings, which are printed in green ink. The newsletter is bound with stapes, and most of the text is printed in blue ink. Some interior headings are printed in white against blue backgrounds, and some are printed in blue ink. The cover text is printed in white, also against a solid blue background. The newsletter contains twenty black and white photographs, a color reprint of a poster for the Grand Rapids Fluoridation Commemorative, a demographic profile of the School of Dentistry's incoming class of 1995, an announcement for the Midwinter Meeting of the Chicago Dental Society, and a submission form for news items for the upcoming issue. 28 pages, not including the interior back cover, which also contains text. The front cover contains the newsletter's logo--with "DENTAL" in block white letters and "UM" in block gold letters--at the top.
