1. Newsletter - Volume 10, number 3 of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's DENTALUM newsletter, published over the winter of 1993-1994. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exception of the newsletter's logo and some internal headings, which are printed in teal ink. The newsletter contains thirty-eight black and white photographs, as well as a demographic profile of the incoming class of 1993, a listing of upcoming continuing education courses, and a submission form for news items for the next issue. 28 pages, not including the interior back cover, which also contains text. The front cover contains the newsletters logo with DENTAL printed in solid teal letters and UM printed in block stencil letters outlined in teal. Beneath that is a black and white photograph of Dr. Brien Lang, a faculty member, seated at a desk and typing at a computer workstation. The back cover is solid teal, as is the left border of the front cover. The newsletter is bound with staples and printed in black ink, with the exception of the newsletter logo, cover text, and an interior extracted quote, which are printed in dark blue ink. The "UM" in DENTALUM is printed in block stencil letters as an homage to the U of M (University of Michigan). The newsletter contains thirty-seven black and white photographs of dental school faculty, alumni, students, and patients, as well as an announcement for the Chicago Dental Society's midwinter meeting, a submission form for news items for the next issue and a demographic profile of the incoming dental school class of 1990. 22 pages, not including the inner back cover, which contains photographs.
