1. Newsletter - The spring and summer 1999 issue of the University of Michigan's School of Dentistry's DENTALUM magazine. The magazine is bounded with staples, and most of the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of the cover text and some interior headings, which are printed in dark blue, white, or gold ink. The magazine contains one color photograph, forty-nine black and white photographs, and a submission form of news items for the upcoming issue. 52 pages. The front cover is covered completely by a photograph of the school's table clinic program. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exception of the newsletter's logo and some internal headings, which are printed in teal ink. The newsletter contains thirty-eight black and white photographs, as well as a demographic profile of the incoming class of 1993, a listing of upcoming continuing education courses, and a submission form for news items for the next issue. 28 pages, not including the interior back cover, which also contains text. The front cover contains the newsletters logo with DENTAL printed in solid teal letters and UM printed in block stencil letters outlined in teal. Beneath that is a black and white photograph of Dr. Brien Lang, a faculty member, seated at a desk and typing at a computer workstation. The back cover is solid teal, as is the left border of the front cover. The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of some internal headings, which are printed in dark blue ink, and the newsletter's logo and some other internal headings, which are printed in white ink on deep blue backgrounds. The newsletter include one color photograph and twenty-nine black and white photographs of dental school faculty, alumni, and students, as well as a registration form for a reception at the upcoming ADA Annual Session and a submission form for news items for the next issue. 25 pages.
