The magazine contains twenty-seven color photographs, twenty-eight black and white photographs, a demographic profile of the incoming class of 1997, a schedule of continuing dental education courses, and a submission form for news items for the upcoming issue. 28 pages, not including the interior back cover, which also contains text. The front and back covers are dark blue. The front cover contains the magazine's logo, with "DENTAL" in white and "UM" in yellow, and a large color photograph of two donors, a man and a woman, to the Campaign for Michigan.
