4. Envelope - An envelope addressed to Dr. C.P. Stone of Saginaw, Mich., stamped on the left-hand side with the University of Buffalo Dental Department's logo. There is a two-cent stamp in the upper right corner and a post-mark to the left of that consisting of two circles--one with the date that the letter was sent, one advertising the Pan-American Exposition in 1901. The back has a post-mark markign the date of receipt. The left-hand side of the envelope is completely torn open.

5. Newspaper - A cutout of a small (70 words approx.) article about Charles P. Stone expanding his practice to include plate work. The article states that Stone has been practicing for nearly 40 years and that he is one of the premier dentists in Saginaw.

6. Package, Product - A box labeled Paragon X-Ray Plates, with a faint green image of a skeletal hand behind the label. On the top it says "made especially for fine radiographic work," and below this it advertises that it is "very fine grain," "extremely rapid," and "heavy coated." Below the name label is the distributor's information and a warning to open in the dark room only. The back of the box has a label saying that plates must be developed until they are dense.

7. Receipt - A receipt from the University of Michigan College of Dental Surgery stating that Charles P. Stone has paid 100 dollars for admission and 25 dollars for incidental expenses for 1890. The receipt is numbered 28 and is dated Sept. 24, 1890. The text is surrounded by a double border at the top and bottom.
