The newsletter is bound with staples, and the text is printed in black ink, with the exceptions of the newsletter's logo, cover text, and interior headings, which are printed in blue and/or white ink. The newsletter contains one color photograph, thirty-two black and white photographs, two x-ray reprints, a map graphic showing where the Alumni Board of Governors live, a submission form for news items for the next issue, and a list of upcoming continuing education courses. 16 pages, not including the back cover, which contains black and white photographs of the Alumni Board of Governors and the map graphic. The cover contains the newsletter's logo, with "DENTAL" in blue letters outlined in white and "UM" in white letters outlined in blue, and a color photograph of Dr. Clifford Thomas, Melissa Whitman, and Joan W. Barth. Clifford and Barth are seated, and Whitman stands in between and slightly behind them. Clifford and Whitman and wearing white lab coats, and Barth is wearing a pink blouse and brown skirt.
