Description |
Two identical black and white negatives of a portrait of Willoughby Dayton Miller DDS from the chest up. He is wearing a suit and tie and looking to the side. He has a thick beard and mustache and is beginning to go bald on top of his head. The photo appears to have been taken of a picture that was already encased in an oval frame. Dr. Miller (of Berlin, Germany) was slated to be a Professor of Dental Pathology and Histology dean of the University of Michigan College of Dental Surgery starting in the 1907-1908 school year but he passed away before starting his appointment. |
