24 human teeth wax models mounted to a blue cardstock backing and enclosed behind glass is a wooden frame painted gold. Models divided between 3 rows with top two rows rendered in 1.5 times size of actual size; first three teeth (from left) in each rows are molars and the others are incisors and canines. Bottom row teeth are actual size and are a brown shade compared to the top two rows which are beige. Back of frame has a computer typed note which states the following: "Teeth carved in dental school (OSU Graduate 1950) by Philip C. McCauley Father of Laurie K. McCauley (OSU Graduate 1985; Professor Univ Michigan 1992 - ; Dean 2013- [2022])" Frame can be hung with a short braided rope at top attached by two screw-on posts in corners. Back of frame has an image of a building and "New York" printed below. |
