Description |
This dental office sign, produced in the Colonial Americana style, promoted the dental services of Dr. Thomas H. Slater (University of Michigan School of Dentistry 1966 alumnus). Dr. Thomas H. Slater graduated from the School of Dentistry at the University of Michigan in 1966 and opened an office in Grass Lake before settling in Jackson where he practiced dentistry from his Victorian era home, lovingly named the Slater Dental Parlor, until his retirement in 2011. He was a great lover of history and antiques and crafted this sign, which hung outside of his home, to fit the era décor of his house built in 1899. |
